● ब्रिटेन की महारानी विक्टोरिया ने 1843 में हॉगकॉग को ब्रिटिश कॉलनी में शामिल किए जाने की घोषणा की।
● महात्मा गांधी अपने अनुयायियों के साथ 1930 में नमक कानून तोडऩे के लिए दांडी पहुंचे।
● भारत स्काउट एण्ड गाइड की स्थापना 1949 को हुई।
